If you are lucky enough to cross paths with her, it was not luck. It was by God’s grace you met this woman with the warmest smile and most genuine hugs. You should let her help you. She has been there and done it for me. She has this ability to see through your junk and find the good, to help you do the work to dust yourself off, and to be your biggest cheerleader. She believes with her whole heart that there is good even if you don’t or if you’ve just forgotten. When I signed up to take Boundaries, it was to fill a day of the week so I could avoid thinking about and dealing with my junk. I swore I wouldn’t speak in class, and I didn’t for a long time. Sheri never pushed me to share, but she never gave up on me either. She has a patient soul…because when I did share, it all came out. Sometimes coherent words and sometimes just in tears and incoherent mumbles, but she knew what I meant and what I needed. Carrying around guilt and shame for so long was exhausting and Sheri helped me loosen my grip to let it go. Long story short, she saved my life.

When I first met Sheri, I was broken, confused and hurt beyond words. Her program helped me heal, forgive and move forward. Going through a divorce was the absolute darkest time in my life but due to the guidance and support I received from Sheri and her group, I am now a better person and mother and have confidence that I didn’t know existed. Sheri has stayed in touch with me over the years and continues to encourage and pray for me. I highly recommend attending Sheri’s group.

What an amazing class! I have to say that I did not expect to get this much out of it. I feel like everyone felt open to share in the class. I was free to say what was on my mind and knew I was in a safe place to talk. Sheri did a fabulous job of leading the group and breaking down the topics to sizable chunks. I feel like my family life is in a much better place because I learned skills, including how to "own" my own choices and not feel like I must please everyone around me. I can say I am a better person for taking this class. I have told many people I meet about Sheri and her class. I am forever grateful.

I met Sheri by a friend inviting me to one of her groups. I didn’t know anyone but my friend that had invited me but from the moment I met Sheri I knew I was loved, accepted, and anything I had concerns with would remain confidential with her and the other members in the class. I believe it was a 13-week class, but I could be wrong, what I do know is that when the group ended I knew that any other class she offered I had to have! Next class I took with Sheri was Boundaries. Boundaries…not sure what that was but I had heard of them! Ha! In this class I went from scared to hurt someone else’s feelings to understanding that it’s ok to say no. My feelings and well-being matter. That just because someone is disappointed in my response doesn’t mean I made the wrong choice! This by far was and still is a class and book I can remember specific “a-ha moments” from! A true life-changing class that I think we should teach all humans! The last class I took with Sheri was on Safe People. This class helped me to be able to identify what a safe person is and what a safe person isn’t. I also was faced with my own image of when I’m not being a safe person. Class was very insightful, and I think the entire class felt encouraged to share and look within. All three classes I took with Sheri were wonderful growing opportunities she helped to facilitate for me. I always felt safe in what I shared and felt loved no matter what. I’m so thankful for Sheri Geyer!
